Nick Andriesse

With great sadness we have taken notice of the passing of our founder, colleague and friend Nick Andriesse.

Nick lived his life to the fullest. He combined his special interest in technical innovation, fast cars and boats with traveling, great food and wine.

His keen eye for design and passion for smart digital solutions was the perfect mix to build the foundation of what Colect is today. With the introduction of the iPad in 2010, Nick found a great opportunity to transform the traditional wholesale process into a digitally supported, innovative and much more efficient way to present and sell fashion collections.

Nick’s professional journey quickly took him and Colect across the border into Belgium, Scandinavia, Germany and the rest of Europe to establish a large client portfolio of international fashion, footwear and sportswear brands.

Despite the challenging situation he was in, Nick kept his positive mindset and stayed highly motivated and committed until the very end. He was passionate about innovation and making improvements for our clients. His legacy will be cherished to remain part of our company.

We wish Nick’s family and all the people close to him the strength to deal with this great loss and offer them our warm support.

Nick, thank you for being a great person and bringing joy to many of our lives. You will be severely missed.
