What DEELUXE Wanted

Digitalization and virtual storytelling

Founded in 2004 in the South of France by two brothers, Jean-Michel and Laurent Sanchez, DEELUXE is a leading brand of ready-to-wear and accessories for men and women. Twenty years ago, they leveraged their extensive experience in retail sales and brand representation to create a new fashion brand, offering a broad selection of pieces that are both bohemian and daring, chic and casual, and suitable for a wide range of occasions. Prior to its partnership with Colect, DEELUXE was already working with an ERP partner and entering information manually. Looking to improve its digital wholesale, and impressed by the innovative and modern design of the Colect platform, the company decided to adopt it in May 2019.

How Colect Contributed

Efficient process and easy order management

The implementation of Colect’s digital tools has significantly increased the efficiency of DEELUXE's sales team and overall wholesale operations. The partnership with K3 Pebblestone, DEELUXE’s current ERP system, has also been a crucial factor in this improvement. There’s a bilateral data exchange that facilitates data flows and information transfer from K3 Pebblestone to Colect through an API. This way all product information that is the base of retail selling such as size, color, SKU, prices, and more, is visible and easily accessible, making DEELUXE’s wholesale operation run smoothly and with no data loss.

B2B Webshop for pre- and reordering

The Result

Increased performance, cross & upsell, and time efficiency

The Sales App (iPad app) is currently utilized by all sales team members for pre-ordering. According to Sébastien Forcellini, Sales Director, the app is "easy and fun to use, even for non-techies." It allows order sharing in multiple formats (XML, PDF, etc.) and has increased the brand’s cross & upsell opportunities due to the fact that they can impress customers with colorful presentations and add different sizes and pre-packs during a sales meeting, making the process efficient for both the sales team and the buyers. On the other hand, the Brand Portal (B2B webshop) facilitates self-service re-ordering for retailers and streamlines order management. It provides access to historical and draft orders in one place. Recently, DEELUXE went live with the newest version of the Brand Portal which will enable sales growth and strengthen customer relations, since it’s a more customizable, intuitive, and fast platform. The future is bright for this strong partnership!
